Bitcoin ETFs On Pace For Smallest Monthly Inflows Ever

finance.yahoo.com · July 30, 2026 · 00:00

Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that track the spot price of Bitcoin (CRYPTO: $BTC) are on track to post their smallest monthly inflows ever this July.

Bitcoin ETFs have attracted $205 million U.S. in net inflows heading into the end of July, the lowest monthly total on record, according to data from SoSoValue.

However, the small inflows seen in July are much better than the previous two months when Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $2.43 billion U.S. in May and $4.52 billion U.S. in June.

ETFs that track the spot price of Ethereum (CRYPTO: $ETH) have performed a little better, attracting $342.85 million U.S. of net inflows during July.

Analysts say the July data indicates limited demand for crypto ETFs among institutional investors that fled digital assets in recent months.

The anemic inflows into crypto ETFs also come with volatility remaining high and prices for Bitcoin and Ethereum failing to sustain meaningful recoveries from their lows for the year.

BTC is trading at $64,800 U.S. on July 30.
