Curium strikes up to $8 billion deal for radiopharma peer Lantheus
Curium has agreed to â buy radiopharmaceutical company Lantheus Holdings in âa deal worth âup âto $8 billion, the companies said on Monday.
Under the â agreement, âLantheus shareholders will â get $102.50 per share in cash when the deal closes, plus ârights to receive up to $12 more per share âif certain sales targets are met by 2030.
The total consideration â of up to $114.50 per share represents âa premium of âabout 14.9% to Lantheus' last closing price of $99.64.
"We â believe this transaction is the â ultimate validation of what â the Lantheus team has built over seven âdecades of innovation âin radiopharmaceuticals," said Lantheus CEO Mary Anne Heino.
Shares of Lantheus were halted in âpremarket trading.
