Thursday 8/6 Insider Buying Report: TM, IR
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.
On Wednesday, Toyota Motor's President, Kenta Kon, made a $1.56M buy of TM, purchasing 85,000 shares at a cost of $18.41 each. So far Kon is in the green, up about 932.0% on their buy based on today's trading high of $189.99. Toyota Motor is trading up about 1.6% on the day Thursday.
And at Ingersoll Rand, there was insider buying on Monday, by Aurobind Satpathy who bought 11,538 shares for a cost of $86.68 each, for a trade totaling $1.00M. Ingersoll Rand is trading up about 1.2% on the day Thursday. So far Satpathy is in the green, up about 5.9% on their buy based on today's trading high of $91.78.
