Arrow Electronics Names Deidra Merriwether President And COO

(RTTNews) - Arrow Electronics, Inc. (ARW) said it appointed Deidra Merriwether to the new position of president and chief operating officer (COO), effective September 8.

As the president and COO, Merriwether will take charge of Arrow's global business segments and logistics organizations.

Before joining Arrow, Merriwether served as W.W. Grainger's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2021, following her role as Senior Vice President and President of North American Sales and Services.

In the after-hour activity on the NYSE, the shares closed Thursday's trading 3.27 percent lower at $215.02, after closing regular trading 2.01 percent down on the same day.
