Abacus Worldwide adds Bolivian firm Horady into global alliance

Abacus Worldwide, an international alliance of independent accounting, consulting and legal firms, has expanded its network with the addition of Bolivian accounting firm Horady.

Horady is based in Cochabamba and provides audit, accounting and business advisory services.

According to Abacus Worldwide, the Bolivian firm's team includes professionals with up to 30 years' experience leading projects at major global organisations, including the Big Four and other leading firms.

Abacus Worldwide COO Dr Jessica L. Levin said: "Welcoming our first member in Bolivia marks another important step in strengthening our presence across Latin America.

Abacus Worldwide has been adding new practices to its network recently.

Last month, the alliance included Indian accounting advisory firm Finactro to its network.

Finactro, headquartered in Bangalore, operated as an accounting advisory and finance outsourcing practice. The firm was founded by former professionals from the 'Big Four'.

In June this year, Abacus Worldwide expanded its international network by adding Forbes Chartered Accountants in New Zealand.

The Auckland-based practice, Abacus Worldwide's first member company in New Zealand, entered the Abacus One tier, which targets solo practitioners looking for growth.

Tanzanian practice Enson Africa also joined Abacus Worldwide's global network this year.
